About Us Our Impact Our impact We believe that no carer should feel alone, and it is vital that all unpaid carers feel supported in their caring role, or feels supported to stop providing care if that's what they choose. Below are some statistics to show you the impact we have made. In 2022 we provided some fantastic support to the carers of Gateshead including; £409,322 Benefits achieved for carers. £153,400 funding provided for carers through our Carer Wellbeing Fund. £8,010 Grant funding achieved for carers. 3068 Pieces of individual support work carried out. 1444 Carers accessed 1-2-1 confidential support. 555 Carers accessed support for the first time. 126 Wellbeing activity group sessions held. 18 BAME language communities supported.
