So imagine bursting (or staggering!) over the finish line, knowing you have helped build a new life for an unpaid carer! If baking and crafting is your thing then why not let your cakes raise some much needed funds to provide a short break for a carer who hasn’t had any time for themselves in over two years! Unleash your creative side and get some crafts all sewn up ready to sell at your next community event in the knowledge that you will be helping carers feel less isolated by attending our wellbeing activities. As a registered charity we very much rely on the generosity of our supporters and donors. With your help and passion, we can be there for carers when they need someone to listen to them. By giving a regular donation, setting up a trust fund, signing up for an event or organising your own, you’ll be making a real difference to the lives of unpaid carers in Gateshead. We absolutely loved our short break at Caldew House. It took a while to be persuaded that we deserved a break but it was the best decision we made to go and we went all over the Lakes sight-seeing and loved the tranquillity and peace. £5 Donating a regular amount of £5 a month for one year, will enable us to provide wellbeing sessions to support 20 carers throughout the year. £10 By gifting £10 a month, you will be helping to provide 4 carers with a much needed short break at our holiday home Caldew House in Cumbria. £45 A gift of £45 will provide a 1-2-1 confidential session for a carer to meet with an experienced Carer Wellbeing Facilitator.
