Set up your very own fundraiser and help us raise money for unpaid carers across Gateshead!
We're going to be walking 13 miles of Hadrian's Wall in celebration of Carers Week 2021 and to raise vital funds for unpaid carers in Gateshead.
We’re reaching out to more and more 'hidden' carers before they reach crisis point, but need your help to do so. Whatever you can give, know that it will be used directly to support carers.
Gateshead Carers provides wellbeing support to unpaid carers which is a vital lifeline. They offer support through one to one, groups and other ways, tailored to each individual carer. This organisation is brilliant and this is why I am doing this.
To help support in these difficult times the vital work GCA carry out.
Without Gateshead Carers, many unpaid carers would go without the vital support they deserve
To raise awareness of carers and support the work of Gateshead Carers Association.
I'll be taking on the challenge of trekking 13 miles of Hadrian's Wall to show my support for all of the unpaid carers in Gateshead.
Carers are unsung heroes providing unpaid care for relatives and friends who couldn't cope without their support and asking for nothing but respect in return. They so often put themselves last and so this is for them!
This walk is a very fitting way to celebrate Gateshead Carers 25th Anniversary by being part of their Hadrian's Wall walking team of 25.
