We are delighted to be accessed some funding for carers aged over 60, to allow is to organise a short FREE programme of good company, chats and fun throughout January and February.
Delicious Three-Course Meal (15th January)
Our first session takes us to the fantastic Enfields Kitchen at Gateshead College for a full three-course meal for free! Come along, enjoy the company, and have a great time.

Discovery at St Mary’s Heritage Centre (24th January)
We’ll be heading over to St Mary’s Heritage Centre for a fabulous free tour and a coffee! Take a chance to discover the history of Gateshead with others all the way from the early Roman settlements to more modern times.

Coffee, Cakes, and Wellbeing at Cosy Crow (29th January)
We’ll be spending some time at the Cosy Crow Community Café for some great company as well as a spot of coffee and cake on the house. The Cosy Crow is a very popular meeting place for members of the Gateshead Older People’s Assembly so there will be a plenty of good conversations to be had!

It’s not a University! Shared interest & coffee (5th February)
We’re off to a fantastic venue for our group this week. St Helen’s Church is one of many campuses of the University of the Third Age (U3A). Never heard of it? Don’t worry, just pop along, grab a cuppa and join us in finding out our shared interests and possibly pick up a new hobby!

For this session, we will be at our centre for some hot drinks and a chance to talk with others like-minded people. The group will have a chance to catch up and to give any feedback on any of the other session that they may have attended.
