Gadabout – Carers Walking Group: The Baltic

Join our Gadabout Carers Walking Group. This month we’re off to The Baltic!

Get active in a very gentle way. Have a laugh and take in the beautiful scenery. By the end of 4 walks we hope you will have gained confidence, be more physically and mentally active, have learned new things, given your time, and connected with others.

The plan is to meet at the Gateshead Carers Centre at John Haswell House, then take a gentle walk down to the Baltic. Spend some time relaxing there, maybe grabbing a tea or coffee, before heading back up to John Haswell House. Carers can choose to stay at the Baltic instead of returning with us to John Haswell House, however they will be responsible for making their own way home.

Walk distance: 1 mile

Walk details: There will be some downhill incline sections, steps to and from the Baltic, and crossing of some main roads.

Please remember to dress appropriately and wear a pair of comfortable shoes.

Up to 10 carers can participate on each walk. Book your space. Once a month 10am-12noon.
