Sizzling chicken fajitas were on the menu at the first session of our Food Club held at Food Nation in Heaton on Thursday 28 September. Carers donned their pinnies, chopped, stirred and cooked up some delicious, healthy and nutritious fajitas before tucking in to enjoy eating them at the end of the session! The Food Club course has been organised for carers in conjunction with Food Nation with the information session on Cookery & Nutrition delivered by our Training Officer Kelechi Dibie and the cookery delivered by Anna Gillings at Food Nation. The course runs over 5 weeks meeting each Thursday morning. We hope to run another course next year so watch this space!
